Illinois Euro is going to hold weekly meets at various places in the Chicago area. Please let us know what day is best for you by voting in this poll.

I am going with Friday, for one, its payday, and for 2, I know I can get out of work @ 6, my department closes @ 6 - lol

Friday for a few reasons:
1. Off work at 6.
2. Won't conflict with ETK meets so nobody will feel guilty or think we're trying to destroy ETK
3. I can bring the S every other week.
4. Likely to get more people out than a mid week meet
5. I get off work at 9 Weds.

Great point Mike - No, we do not have to have them in Schaumburg - we can have them wherever the people want to have them - maybe the first will be in the city? Or maybe Downers Grove? Whatever, it will be great wherever it is - make a new post and suggest the next/first meet location! i love how thursdays are MIA for etk.

Maybe we will do a map of members and do a nice central location. Or we can rotate areas. God knows there are more towns with food in them than Schaumburg. A lot with tax rates below 9% too. I bet some spots in St. Charles would love the business.

I personally like Wednesdays, Kind of a "blah" day, in the middle... why not add some life on a Wednesday night?

I can tell the group that Tuesdays and Thursdays are bad for me coming up at the end of August. I teach those evenings. Any other evening is ok, but, I have to be honset, on a week night, with my old car, I dont want to have to drive too far. But, I will go with the flow, after all, its not all about me, it has to good for the entire group.
Open to locations.

So it sounds like Friday's might win  I know there is a VW cruise that starts in Downers grove and ends up in Schaumburg every Friday, or every other Friday, would be cool to meet up with them sometime! |
