Unfortunatly, it's illegal in this state to go that dark, and to tint the front two windows right?
Good thing I'm keeping my Florida residency.

Yeah you can't tint the fronts. I thought that was illegal everywhere though hmmm. I keep thinking about it, but most cars I see with tint on the forums are relatively stock, so it's not such an easy mod to pick when I can't see everything working together. I hope that made since haha. Man that paint looks good. I should have redid the whole car. I did the front myself. and had a buddies shop down here do most of the drivers side to pull out dings and fix a clear coat issue. I still need to redo the front passenger door and the stubby. That's it and a hardcore detail with some minor cutting and maybe, just maybe I will be as shiny as you haha.

Yeah, the car is pretty dirty in those pics too. I was sponsored by a shop down in Florida for a while, and after I had a build-up of little rock dings in the front I decided to have the whole car redone. Luckily, I was sponsored and only had to pay for materials, so I ended up paying somewhere between $200-400 for the full job. And it's House of Kolor paint too.
That really sucks about the tint laws up here. I have noticed a lot of the laws up here are a LOT more strict than in Florida. Especially their gun laws, which I absolutely hate.

The gun law might be an IL thing. They are pretty loose here in Indiana. I think IN's tint is 35% do you know what IL's is? And like you my paint cost that of materials, maybe $100 at most for the one side. I did some plastic welding and shaving on the S4 bumper too, although, it's going back under the knife for some additional smoothing  |

Yeah, the gun laws here in IL are so un-constitutional it's rediculous. In Florida, you can get a permit to carry a concealed weapon just about anywhere you go. Even without the permit, you can carry one fully loaded in your car for protection. Here, the only people that carry guns are the criminals, so us law abiding citizens are left defenseless.

Yeah, Illinois tint laws suck. I wouldn't mind getting my car done, but I would hate having only the rear windows tinted.
Yeah, it looks pretty rediculous without the front two tinted. I would tint them anyway and just deal with it if I got a ticket. I can't stand un-tinted windows. But, that's the Floridian in me. |

Nice shots! The tinting law in Illinois is any percent tint is allowed on the back windows and nothing is allowed on the front two.
