I passed out a few of our cards, three VW's and an Audi A4. New members should be coming along, unless they think its a cult, you never know when accidentally placing the card on a VW beetle a Grannie drives lmao.

yeah... I don't just put em on cars because they're nice cars, except for cars that aren't cars that you see every day, aka older models, and more rarer models... if I was to put cards on every A4 and Beetle I saw I'd need way too many cars. I ONLY put them on cars that I know the person mods/likes their car enough to join a forum, or cars that I see that are unique/modded, I don't just waste em on every European car I see.

Its a tough call to know who we should approach. I found it helps when Im in the six and stop somewhere. More euro heads come to me and thats my chance to pass one out. The six is a good ice breaker. I'll never forget I was at a grocery store and happened to see a guy pull up in an e30 a couple of months ago. I caught up with him in line, and asked "how do you like your e30?" Blank stare. I jumped in with .... "your bimmer, how do you like it?" Turns out he did not have a clue of the naming convention, and when I said come on line and check out our community, I told him Illinoiseuro (did not have a card ON me at the moment), he asked me how do you spell that? Sooooooo, I explained its "illinois" (the state), and "euro" kind of like the European currency moniker with no spaces between the state and euro. Following that converstaion, I kind of assumed that we would not EVER see this guy, and it was probably for the better. I have a feeling Darwins law probably caught up with him.

I plan on giving her one - i am envious of her Gti.

Chris is the guy to talk to, we need to raise up a bit of money to help cover the cost on those, I have like 10 of them and I know Chris is getting low on them.
Maybe a new design?
Chris- do you wanna post up a topic about what we had talked about for the cards back at the TGI Fridays meet where I got the subs from you?
