hey guys whos runing with no front plate??? any problems??? so far niles pulled me over once told me to take off my euro plate but if i went to a car show that day and if i get pulled over its alright or something? northbrrok gave me a warning basically areas where cops just sit around and have nothing to do and i heard that NJ just got rid of that law about front platess luckkky assses   |

I don't have a front plate, I wanna get a Euro Plate though... and I'm actually tempted to get a Euro plate with the same numbers as on my Illinois Plate. I haven't had any problems with not having a plate except getting shit from my parents about it.
I know Chris runs a Euro Plate, I hope he will chime in with any issues he's had.

I'd get a Swedish plate just cuz well... its a Volvo... I can't put myself to ordering one that has the same as my Illinois Plates or going with something custom.

yup, i have a Euro plate... i had no problems at all  i got a ticket once when running a yellow/red light, and the cop added not having a Illinois plate onto the ticket, thats it.  |

My dad and I have never had front plates and neither of us has had problems in Lincolnshire or anywhere we go. |

Yeah, I think I'd find the same thing, looks better without Euro Plate with just a clean front bumper...

Have you guys seen the front plate bracket that goes into your tow hook bracket? Means no drilling and simple removal for show and such. I just tried to find it but have had no luck at all.

im thinkin of getting a euro plate on mine...but cops are punks espically since i live behind da station....but if i get one i was thinking of putting my illinois numbers on it...or my GTI's nick name "Black Cherry" lol.but id put it in a shorter way..."BLK CHRRY"...what you guys think?or any suggestions?
