Well today I finally went over and started messing with teh MK3 today. I got a few things done, really I have everything back together minus fluids, which I didn't have my wallet so I couldn't buy crap lol. I'll be back out there Sunday with the hopeful and successful running of the engine.

Started in the snow


Got some heat


Changed some pullies, added a timing belt, put some body panels back on etc...did a lot of little things today.





I think I might Copper plate the intake manifold. My new job has everything to do it....that or Gold......not sure yet.....But I'm going to do something gross lol. Other then that it's getting the suspension soon. I pick it up on NYE from my buddies house.....I already have exhaust on it.......I really don't care what happens to the car. We will probably try to destroy it. Ok, that's about it for now, updates as I work on it.

I picked up the suspension, which I'm going to take to work and sand blast and refinish the struts. Probably will paint them silver or similar.

 I had some issues today with the fuel pump. I couldn't get any power to it. The relay was clicking and the fuses were good. Tomorrow I'm bringing my Fluke home to test the leads to see if I am even getting power. So hopefully I can figure out the problem. If it's a bad pump that's not a very big issue at all. It will be an easy swap with one from picknpull  Grin

Thanks for giving me free Karma lol. I'm a Sox fan, that's my buddy Matt, he's a Cub's fan. Really I like both but, feel like giving my buddies a hard time so I generally pick the opposite teams they like. K gotta go, American Gladiators is on WOOT!

Maybe lol. I think I might sell it after I get it running good lol. I want a Vee spec car now since they are building a track about 15 minutes from my house lol.
