Looking for two used cars actually, but need to buy one at least in the next week or two. I need something with low miles, front or all wheel drive. Something reliable since its for my son. Don't want to spend more than $4000 prefer to spend a lot less PM if you have anything that fits the bill.

Does it have to be FWD or AWD? And do you want him to get stick or auto?
Any combination is fine. Let me know what you got.

Try looking for a 91 318is, cheap to fix, reliable and tons of fun
Rear wheel drive and ultra-light = major snow problems. I can imagine what your car does in the snow

If he TRULY needs something FWD, safe, reliable, and good on gas...the answer is Civic. As much as I hate to say it. But on the upside, you could put a euro emblem(BMW, Audi, VW, etc) on the car I was going to report you to a moderator for that but then realized I was a Moderator. When we were looking at a replacement for the first Mini (the problematic one) we sat in a Civic. Itched for about 15 minutes, apparently we are both allergic to cheap.
