This subject has been raised too many times to count. Do YOU think volvo's are euro or not?

So you're saying a 1995 850 Turbo is not a Euro by saying that Volvo isn't Euro?

Regarding the S80:

i'm not saying anything anymore, this is the kind of topic that can break up friendships,

is Volvo a Euro, Yes? No? WHO CARES, if the people say its a Euro, then it is a Euro, if not, then not.

its all just personal opinion, its almost like saying Porsche is not Euro since the new ones are Assembled in Dubai. dontknow

these topics need to be dropped, come on, we dont want to fight each other, this is a Friendly Community and we should all enjoy it, and RESPECT the cars that people drive and what they think. WE ARE ALL FRIENDS HERE.

Jake- before accusing Volvo's of not being a Euro, please remind yourself of how many years they were not owned by Ford and were completely out of Sweden. Thank You.

.....

Jake they're as Euro as your car. It's owned by a company that's not European, but who cares? Like I said in a thread before most of the parts are not made by Ford.

I don't think any car is really euro, asian or american.  Parts are made everywhere and assembly could be anyplace.  Take my car for example.  It was assembled in the USA in South Carolina.  Is it really a euro?

True.. but there is a certain style associated with cars that are European, Japanese, and American. I think that is what makes them different.
