Has anyone watched the Bears for over 12 years? If so, you might know this ....

This site is from one of my best friends, Mike, and what he did is absolutely NUTS.
Basically here is what happened. It was a Monday night game between the Bears and the Packers and it was nationally televised too. So, the week before he had a chance at catching a ball, wait, let me back up by saying that Kevin Butler is one of the only kickers to kick balls over the safety net. Anyway, on this particular week, he had a few in him if you know what I mean, and he basically saw the ball coming, and he went for it!

The rest as they say is history - he caught the ball, and not only that, but he also landed 25 ft. below on the slanted concrete surface (the ramp that everyone comes out on the field from) and still held on to the ball too.

This was about 12 years ago - and he is still having his 15 minutes of fame too - recently (a couple years ago I think) he had won an ESPY, thats right, he has it in his house and I have seen it too! He won it for "Best catch by a non-professional"!

I was at the game and saw him do it in person. It happened so fast it was hard to see much from my angle. The main thing we saw was someone jump, it was not until later that night that we saw the whole thing...Seriously Incredible!!

That is freaky, I know you have had season tickets for a long time, but that is wild that you were actually there that same evening!

Do you want an autograph? I can ask him, no problem. He was thinking of starting to attempt to sell them on Ebay, autographed pics, framed too - but I dont think he would have much success - never know though - what do you think, would there be any interest in that? I would get yours for free though - lol

My family has had season tickets for the Bears for 68 years in a row, the original Tickets were at Wrigley Field!! Generally, I will only miss one game a season (if that) and I alway make an effort to get to every game. Last Year, I saw every game (including both Home Playoff games & the Superbowl) except the last game of the regular season (New Years Eve vs Green Bay). I was all set to go to the game, but they moved the time to the Sunday night game and I already had plans for New Years Eve.


As Far as an Autograph, I think I will PASS...I have never been an autograph guy, although I do own a 1985 Superbowl Ball, with the entire '85 team signatures on the ball (one of my prized possessions). Thanks for the offer.
