I had to keep turning it over every minute. I would let it sit on the ACC position and then turn it over, took like 5 minutes. I didnt try to turn it back on immediately. But I just tried again, and it wouldnt turn.

If it's the ignition switch, I just got mine changed by audi under a recall, You might want to check that out. The BEST shop to bring audis to is CPT in melrose park, ALL the audi guys go to Al. Here's a link, http://www.gocpt.com/

Where did you find out about the recall? And what year and model does that cover? And did it go bad, before you found out about the recall?

I got my car from the dealership so I'm registered with audi & they send me things all the time including recall info. My car is a 97 & I don't know which years the recall is for. I had no issues but new parts for free on an 11 year old car is a no brainer  thumbsup

Yeah he bought his from the dealership too. Well we have already replaced the engine and tranny. Guy called from the shop saying the timing belt broke, and he has to crack it open and see whats going on. Jon is calling them now, to talk, because I am not so good at that kind of stuff! I am hoping that we can get it fixed, with out having to replace the fucking engine again!
