I did mine with a friend and some beer. It ended up taking us around 6hrs., plus we installed the snub mount since it's right there. I cant remember where I bought the kit but it was about $300 shipped with everything I needed except coolant. I bought the coolant from the local VW for a lot less than the internet. ($17 a gallon)

My belt was fine when I took it off but the water pump impeller literally fell apart as I pulled it out. The car had about 67k miles on it at that time.

not sure if your euro cars call for earlier maintance but the rule of thumb on the japs in change it around a 100k... anyway when i had my belt done on the integra i provided all OEM parts. For such vital things i would stick to OEM.
