Documentary movie (FREE) ..... kinda political, and VERY SERIOUS! (LONG POST)

Ok, so I have been watching this movie over and over and I had to share.
Seriously, its important to me, and thats the reason for the long post! It will take some TIME!

Its called Zeitgeist and here is the description from a popular web site:
A feature length documentary by filmmaker Rob McGann,a historical look at the War on Terrorism from 1979 to 2006, 40 in-depth interviews with leading experts on terrorism, U.S. foreign policy, Islam and Middle Eastern studies.

Ok, back to my post .....

DISCLAIMER - THIS MOVIE IS NOT FOR EVERYONE, Personally, I think its ok I LOVE IT, but again, its not for everyone. There is no dirty language, no naked people, and no chase scenes. The language used is VERY INTELLIGENT, and you MUST have a very good understanding of the ENGLISH language, in other words, you will hopefully be a high school or college graduate, again, the movie uses very explicit (not dirty) and highly sophisticated language to convey their point in this film. (These are my words!)

It is broken down into 3 parts, and I will give you the amount of time of each part along with my own little sample of what its about ......


Part 1 - The Greatest "Story" ever told: 26:20 (thats 26 minutes and 20 seconds, you get the idea now)
This portion of the movie deals with Religion and how it has evolved. I have to say that it is very provocative and makes you think a little. Think what you want, I know what I think, and I can honestly say that I am not going to church anymore, although if the wifey asks me, I will go for her and the family - lol

Part 2 - All the Worlds a stage: 33:24
The 2nd portion deals with the 9/11 tragedy. It is very graphic at times, as the whole event was a very unimaginable event - regardless, could it have been a set up to make the USA believe a lie? Think what you want again, I am still not sure what the heck I believe - I have no idea here.

Part 3 - Don't mind the men behind the curtain: 47:05 (The longest but MOST amazing part!)
The last part has to do with POLITICS, and what the world may be facing. This part really ties the whole movie together and I have to say that it is really amazing when you pay attention to the whole movie - again, I am not sure what I think anymore.

To me, this is a life changing movie. I am not joking, I am seriously living a little different. Not that anyone else will really notice overall, I will still act the same, be goofy and have a happy go lucky general outlook.

But, I know there is something going on out there, somewhere - and you really, never know!

I have to say that EVERYONE needs to find the 2 hours to watch this - I know it has changed my outlook and I am sure it will change yours, or at least alter your thoughts a little!

The crappy laptop I am using won't play video's well from the internet. So I won't watch it, but by your synopsis I can only imagine. I honestly can say that I think that the "Roswell conspiracy" and "9/11 was plotted by the US Government" is a crock of crap and was stewed up by someone with too much time on their hands. I tried to have an open mind about this, I tried to watch Fahrenheit 9/11 with Michael Moore. It just made me want to go kick that fat bastards ass and tell him that we need less people like him in this world brining the moral of people towards the US Government down. What we need right now are true patriot's who will stand behind our leaders and our government like we have been since we separated from Britain over 200 years ago. I'll have to stop here.

I think you had better find a computer before supporting something so passionately - just my opinion, but there are some things in the video that can not be argued - just plain old facts if you know what I mean - seriously, take a moment and check it out -  I am sure you have a friend with a computer~!

I'm not sure if our country planned 9/11, but to tell you the truth i dont think that its totally not plausible. the documentary sights how our country entered the past 3 major wars(WW1,WW2, Vietnam) and i wouldnt be surprised if we were behind the lusitania(sp?) and the gulf of tonkin. I think we did provoke pearl harbor tho, and we definitely provoked 9/11.

and in ur last sentence about the revolution. the colonists didnt need "true patriots" they needed radical revolutionaries to guide their country onto the right path. If the colonists took your stand on blind faith in the british government and its leaders then we might still be a colony of britain.

I mean dont get me wrong I'm glad i live in america, its just that history has shown us that Power corrupts. and that we shouldnt just sit back and take it.
