This was on his 4th or 5th birthday, and yes, I did this while he was sleeping so when he woke up, he was like OMG! Let me show you what I mean ......



It was all the good ones too - j/k  .....



Yes, he was most definitely happy ....



He wanted to show me EVERY SINGLE ONE ....



It was certainly a fantastic moment for him, and us - and we still have hot wheels EVERYWHERE - lol

Haha, he looks like my dad. except without the little kid smile, size, well the only thing him and my dad have in common is a crap ton of Hot Wheels. I don't remember his count recently but last time he told me it somewhere around 3-4k cars...
