No more cigarettes for me, for life.

On another important note, I want everyone to know that I am not deleting anyones account - ever.

If you do not want to be here anymore, then dont come back, and consider yourself done.

Oh yeah, I forgot to say that I had been smoking for OVER 30 years and if you know me you know that I smoked a ton, I was a big smoker and I was smoking all the time too - and I quit with no patch, no pills, no gum,  - there is no way I am putting MORE crap in my body - lol

Just will power.

I have to say, I hope that all of you that read this, will know that the power of the mind is much more than any of us can even imagine. Not sure if this is true, but I have heard that we only use a small percentage of our brain power, and if we could use more we could move things without touching them, and control all kinds of stuff including our cars - in fact, I think I just heard about this new technology that will allow a user to control his computer with out ever touching it - just "MIND CONTROL" - anyway, thats how I quit smoking - lol

Thanks a ton guys!

It has not been easy at all - after smoking for more than 30 years over a pack a day, and NOT using any patch, pill or gum (I did not think it would be good to put more crap in my body, I am trying to get it out and not put more in - lol) I have still stayed smoke free - not one puff, not one cig - nothing - I am done forever. (I know, I mentioned all that already - lol)

It is all about the will power - and I can not stress enough, you can do anything you put your mind to doing, as long as you have the will power to do it and do it right.

To everyone that wished me well, Thank you so much for being on my side, I really do appreciate the support.

Almost a whole week now, and there is no turning back now  thumbsup Consider me a Non-smoker Smiley

congrats man. 4 years smoke free for me. I smoked 2 to 3 packs a day for almost 15 years. It was hard at first but became easier and easier with time. Just wait till your lungs start healing and you can breath again. And food will taste SO much better now as well. You will taste things the way they were meant to be. You better watch out or the pounds will start adding up. again congrats it really is a big deal.

Trying not to worry too much about the weight - for a couple reasons.

1 - I have a very high metabolism, and I keep myself fairly active, and my wife and I just purchased a Bow-Flex (even though admittedly I have not been using it - lol)

2 - I dont really have time to eat too much - I work a ton of hours.

3 - I have faith in myself to keep it under control - not to mention even if I did gain some,  the wifey said I looked cute - lol

Anyway, I really can not wait to breathe better - and it really does seem to be getting easier.

...Missing lots of posts recently...

CONGRATS ADAM. That just means that all the money that you would use on cig's you can now use on the car (that is a LOT of money too)

It is going exceptionally well, I had some REAL test's too - stress level was about as high as it could/would ever get at any point in someones life - and I still have not smoked a bit, nothing, natha, zilch - wOOt (I'm a non-smoker, Thanks)

Anyway, I owe it all to ...... ummmm, My Wife!

At least I hope she would like to hear that Smiley
