Ok well here is my opinion-oh wait, let me put down my glass of wine first  Honestly though, I think that (even though Hub knows my opinion) what bothers me most about pot is that it is (for one) illegal, so that bugs me a lot but as far as the other I guess it's not as bad as booze, when it comes to driving, etc I think people get killed a lot more with alcohol related accidents than pot related. That said-sometimes pot leads to other drugs for some people, particularly young people which is bothersome. I also question the reasons why people have to rely on it, but I have never smoked it on a regular basis (or hardly at all) so I guess I would not know. IN short-I think that both booze and alcohol can lead to worse things for some people, so the world would be fine without both of them. I think that each person needs to do their own soul searching to find the reasons why they do what they do. That's my opinion, anyway....  Hunnie |

well i do think that overall alcohol is more thratning that marijuana so if alcohol is legal then so should weed be. Now i do think there should be a legal age for both, but not 21...I think its should be 18. I mean at 18, one can join the army and take on the responsibiity of having dozrens of peoples lives in their hands. But cant take a sip of beer? makes a lot of sense to me...

I seriously agree with almost every point posted so far - you guys ROCK!
I have always said it like this:
Let 2 people sit at a table - give one $20 worth of pot (any kind) and give the other $20 worth of alchohol (any kind) and after using for 2 hours (should be enough time to consume the total amount of each substance) let them both try to operate some heavy machinery, or walk and talk with no issue, or have them drive a car and see how they react - that would be a great way to determine if something should be legal or not IMO.
