i drive it 3 blocks to school, and then back home.

first i'd like to know how you manage to get 10 mpg on a car that is suppose to get 17 city/24 hwy.

second, you're saying its "not worth it" to keep up with the maintenance and the 10mpg you purport to get on a 2.7 liter twin turbo v6?  and you're contemplating a 2002-03 Escalade, a car that is suppose to get 12 city/15 hwy on a 5.3 liter V8 (almost twice the size) or a 6.0 liter V8?!?!

and to top all of that you are ALSO contemplating getting in addition to the escalade either a, let me get this straight, NEW  Mercedes C300 (approx.  $33k) OR a USED s60r (approx $18k -24k.)

I live in CO so an SUV/truck is kinda necessary, but my cousin owns own here so i did not need one.
end of story i stayed with the S. I may be getting a E46 M soon but we will see after the winter.
