+1 on A3 I test drove both the quatro and the 1.8 t. loved them.... if i was u i wouls narrow it down to the a3, and the two mazdas.

Yeah the A3 is a good choice but the MSRP of a base model 2.0t 6 speed manual is $25,930.... so I'm not sure if that's in your price range. You could maybe find a slightly used one for cheaper.

He will let you get one of the mazda speeds but not a wrx? Im pretty sure both of those are faster than the wrx. How come a legacy GT and not a wrx? How come you going stick instead of auto?

That may be as fast or faster than that impreza but I dont think thats what kind of car hes going for. I think he wanted awd or something.

also if u are going to buy stick not sure how the regular impreza clutches are but the wrx clutch has got to be one of the most annoying clutches. (very narrow catch point made by exedy stock)
