Up for sale, a Custom Show car, Audi TT Quattro Coupe 225 with 114000 miles, but dont let the mileage scare you, lots of parts have been replaced. Also, many custom performance parts have been added as well - this car is fast, dont let the mileage fool you!
I have owned the car for over 3 years, and bought it with 48000 and drove across the country - so needless to say, lots of highway miles have been put on this car. Obviously, the age and miles do not show on this car as I have painstakingly taken great care of the car, and had it repainted a couple times, again, its a show car and it has to look good to win at national shows like HIN and Nightshift.
The body kit was the first in the USA at the time it was released. The roof is pure real carbon fiber and is one of 3 in the world from what I understand and of course is one of the major custom areas of the car.
This car has had over $30k put into it, not including the original purchase of $23k, so in reality, this is an almost $55k car. Realistically, I hope to get about $25k. Here is a list of the mods: Modifications: Custom Painted Black top with REAL carbon fiber roof Brullen Exhaust APR Chip with 91, 93 and 100 octane programming Hyperboost HX Diverter Valve "TTDA, BAMM, 4 bar FPR", Boost machine (controller) B&M Short Shift Kit ECS tuning short shift kit Brembo 332mm BBK Stainless steel brake lines Stage 3 South Bend DXD Race Clutch Stainless steel braided fuel lines Lightweight pulley system (NOT INSTALLED YET) Samco hose kit in blue Interior Features: White Face Gauges Raffi Hand made AWESOME shift knob New custom floormats Sparco Torino 2 seats Schroth 4 point harness Stable Energies harness bar Momo Trek (R) steering wheel with custom alcantara Custom hand stiched door panels Other Interior Features: Oil pressure gauge from Defi, installed in center dash vent Boost gauge from Defi, installed in center dash vent Carbon Fiber interior Door Handles Carbon Fiber E-brake cover Carbon Fiber interior kit from LLTek Blue neon lights (inside only) Kenwood KVT-715 In dash DVD,CD,AM-FM, Sirius Sat. radio Diamond 300w amp. Sub enclosue with neon and 2 10" subs Exterior Custom Features: Smoked side marker lights Carbon Fiber rear spoiler Carbon Fiber mirror covers Shark fin antenna from new A4/A6 Darkened rear tail lights Window tint - Limo tint in the rear and 20% everywhere else Body Kit - Reiger TTR body kit Flik Black Wasp 18"/with Bridgestone SO3 with custom center caps 19mm Nuespeed rear sway bar Other Custom Exterior Features: Headlight mod (taking off the reflector and installing clear corners and “Angel Eyes” and then painting headlight housing silver custom mix) Polished intake manifold
Sponsors: Bridgestone - Bridgestone S03 tires (so far)
Disclaimer - IMPORTANT, there is a LOW OIL PRESSURE ISSUE, but, it has been like this for over a year, and it could just be a small issue. I was driving along, and traffic stopped, and instead of hitting the truck in front of me, I swerved and went over a curb, cracked a hole in the oil pan and drove a little ways while the oil was leaking out. I noticed a loss in power and shut it down right away, and since then I have replaced the oil pan (obviously) as well as the oil pump, oil pressure sensor as well as other parts, and the light still comes on once in a while. Personally, if I were to have kept this car, I would have driven it until I had a loss in power, which there is not right now, and you will know that the first time you drive it, it is still very fast!
Although I have no BIN, I will have a reserve, and I will not tell you what it is. Just bid what you would be happy paying and we will not have any issues. Please, do not bid an amount that you can not afford.
I am selling as is, with no warranty, and no return.
If you like the car, please bid, but do not bid without the intention of purchasing at said price.
The car is for sale locally and I have the right to end the auction early at any time I see fit.
Payment Terms: The successful high bidder will submit a $1,000 non-refundable deposit within 2 business days of the close of the auction to secure the vehicle. Buyer agrees to pay remaining balance due within 5 days of the close of the auction.
All financial transactions must be completed before delivery of the vehicle.
Payment Methods: Cash (in person), certified check, bank transfers.
Fees and Taxes: Out of state buyers are responsible for all state, county, city taxes and fees, as well as title/registration fees in the state that the vehicle will be registered.
=======
What do you think, just add pictures and publish? Or, do you have some more creative writing skills, and you can re-word it better?
Thanks,
Adam

You know, I would lose the details on the oil pressure light, dont EVEN mention it. If you feel you must mention, be vague and certainly dont give specifics of the accident ... too much information. Remember you want to sell it, not tell its life story. Is there any way you can disconnect the warning light? I mean if you are convinced that it is a non-issue, then hide it.

It all looks good. But i also think you shouldnt put to much detail into how it all happened with the oil pan. Tell the truth im with you on that one, but just say you went over something that caused the oil pan to start leaking but you fixed it by changing blah blah blah etc. and the light ocassionally still comes on for some reason.

Good point, but I have to be honest, its just a simple disclosure - hopefully this will be a non-issue, it might already be sold

I would probably leave out the "was" statements on things like the clutch, etc.. Also, in the first paragraph you mention the Carbon Fiber roof and then you say "Custom painted roof" in the description. Just my .02

I had a copy writer rework your words...I like your enthusiasm of your writing, but I like this version much better. Simple, concise & let's the car do the talking.
Audi TT Quattro Coupe 225 - Custom Show Car
Car has been in my possession for over 3 years. Upon my purchase the odometer read: 48,000 (currently odometer reads 114,XXX). The majority of the mileage is highway miles. The age and miles do not show on this TT as this car has been painstakingly taken care of. It has even been repainted a couple times. This is a show car and it has won at national shows like HIN and Nightshift (see photo’s).
The TT has had over $30k in After-Market Modifications
Modification List:
Custom Painted Black top with REAL carbon fiber roof Brullen Exhaust APR Chip with 91, 93 and 100 octane programming Hyperboost HX Diverter Valve "TTDA, BAMM, 4 bar FPR", Boost machine (controller) B&M Short Shift Kit ECS tuning short shift kit Brembo 332mm BBK Stainless steel brake lines Stage 3 South Bend DXD Race Clutch Stainless steel braided fuel lines Lightweight pulley system (NOT INSTALLED YET) Samco hose kit in blue Interior Features: White Face Gauges Raffi Hand made AWESOME shift knob New custom floormats Sparco Torino 2 seats Schroth 4 point harness Stable Energies harness bar Momo Trek (R) steering wheel with custom alcantara Custom hand stiched door panels Other Interior Features: Oil pressure gauge from Defi, installed in center dash vent Boost gauge from Defi, installed in center dash vent Carbon Fiber interior Door Handles Carbon Fiber E-brake cover Carbon Fiber interior kit from LLTek Blue neon lights (inside only) Kenwood KVT-715 In dash DVD,CD,AM-FM, Sirius Sat. radio Diamond 300w amp. Looks as though my Ebay ad will sell this time for sure, the reserve is met and I am ready to move on.
I waited for the guy with the RX8 + $5k as long as I can, although at the last minute things could change - lol
Weirdest thing though, the guy on Ebay has bid on the TT 4 times now! First bid did not meet the reserve - $15k even on 9.26.07 - 12:24:28 Second bid met the reserve - $15,001 and that was on 9.26.07 - 12:24:46 Third bid I am not sure how much more he bid, but that was on 9.29.07 almost midnite Fourth bid again not sure how much more, but that was on 9.30.07 - TODAY!
Needless to say, he must be very interested, and the guy with the RX8 said its not him - so, its going one way or the other, I hope!
I will miss my little buddy, but at the same time I am welcoming with open arms my new ride, whichever it may be for now, but eventually I will have a BMW 318ti for sure, no doubt in my mind (for now)
