T6, one more cylinder, one more turbo...

« on: November 17, 2008, 10:55:26 PM »

Here's what I've been up to.

Monroe Shocks/Struts with Eibach Lowering Springs
Enkei GF-1 Wheels with IPD Tuner Lug Bolts and 5mm spacers front and back (got these from ethan)
IPD Front and rear upgraded anti-sway bars
IPD Front HD Endlinks

This car has a totally new stance... future mods list.
Tint 20% around probably.
Custom Mesh Grille... when I stop being lazy.
Catback Exhaust, when I get someone who wants to spend a day welding for me... anyone? Probably straight pipe with the possibility of a muffler at a later date.
Timing Belt
SpeedTuning 15psi tune (stock 12) maybe an MBC taking it to 17.

Here we go...

HID in Halogen Housing "Cutoff"

and some volvos at the Volvo shop right below the parking garage I was, Hubbard Woods Volvo for all you that may know.

Hope you guys like it.

I'm in Cincinnati now... haha. Are you gonna go on the Cruise? I could check it out then and see what you might need. You're talking for the interior of the car right? Or do you mean HIDs for the headlights?

Car looks aggressive. You should try to color match those black moldings, on the front bumper, doors, and rear bumper.

Pretty sure Im making the 30th. Just not sure which car yet.  Tongue

I am looking to change the interior lights yes, not HIDs. I want to experiment with some alternate lighting for the floor and console. Before doing anything, I need to investigate a bit.

Are you going to be here for the 30th?

Cincy??? How long are you there for? I'm probably going to Dayton this Sunday, we should meet up and have an IL Euro meeting in OH!  thumbsup

Car looks nice, just needs the back side lowered some. Looks like you've got some rake going on there.

I could possibly take a look at it, not sure if I want to get into taking a car apart before a cruise, the footwell lights and stuff would be easy to check out but he cluster etc might be a bit harder.

Im here for school now, no plans to go up to dayton this weekend as I have to do some studying before thanksgiving. I'd be up for it another time though. I wanna cut half or maybe even a full coil off the back to help slam it, then I think it would look sick.

Don't cut the coils. How long will you be out in cincy? Just 2 years or 4?

Right before the cruise is not a good time to start tearing apart the car, your right. No, I think I'll analyze things and then makes some purchases. Maybe over Christmas we can get together for a day. Sound good?

Sounds good, we should set up a mini mod day over Christmas break, I'll get back like the 18th of December and leave the 4th or 5th of January.

Quite true, I tried putting a leafblower in the engine bay but I had to ziptie it to the fender because the engine bay is so crapmed in this car. Then I tried one of those industrial cool off fans on the sidelines of football games that also sprays water as a form of water injection, that didn't quite work. So I just took the grille out and have a midget with a fan and a straw to blow air into the car through that hole, probaly +15hp on the butt dyno.
