Okay.. I know there are not many towns out there that *still* do "drive squares".  I know of Rochelle Illinois (out near DeKalb) like an hour + drive from my house in Carpentersville.. but just a thought.. we could find a town (hopefully closer than Rochelle) that still drives squares and we could all meet really close to said town around the time that they drive squares and just totally blow their minds with our cars driving their square.... what do you all think Huh?  Just show up totally unannounced and drive the square a few times and blow out of there... okay obviously we would have to wait again until spring/summer.. but wouldn't this be halarious Huh?  They would all be standing around going "who the heck was that Huh? scratch"

I got a sweet deal.. my dad didn't want the 928 anymore so he gave it to me!  He keeps in his garage, does all the repairs, pays for the plates and insurance too!

nahh like towns that have absolutely nothing to do on Friday/Saturday nights or Sunday afternoons the "thing" to do was drive through town.  Depending on the town if they actually had a main square (like Woodstock for example) you would just drive around and around.  Sometimes you could stop for ice cream and hang out to socialize with other friends/neighbors.  But the main point was to be out and driving squares.  I know sounds lame, but it's what they do in small towns.

You mean a town like this? Between 37 and Granville there's a square of Sunbury, OH the white box is a gazebo. Yeah, it's a small town. lol.

no clue.. it would have to be a town that actually drives squares for it to be a fun outing.    You know, basically an entire town that hangs out in the same area for hours talking.. they all know each other, know each others cars.. and then out of the blue a huge group of cars they've never seen before blow through a few times and then blow out of there again. Just thought it would be funny but if you've never witnessed the social gathering for yourself then you could be having a tough time picturing this.

yeah we've got time like 5 months to get a few towns figured out.  I know Rochelle Illinois does it FOR SURE my sister lived there for a few years which is actually how I found out about it.  A friend told me that they do it in Winnetka Wilmette Glencoe and a small part of Evanston.. which I've never seen/heard about but then again I am not from those towns nor do I spend any amount of time in those towns so I guess it's very possible.
