Ya i honestly don't care what others think. I have gotten some shit on a couple of forums for the "Rallying." Everyone who showed up had fun. Everyone there didn't have any problems with the events that went down. People can moan all they want, but if they weren't there it doesn't make a difference. As long as no one from the cruise has any problems with it, thats all i care. I specifically chose a remote parking lot which was not seen from any roads and was empty without any objects like poles in the way.

I wasnt there for all the action, but, Im sure that it went fine. Im covering myself when I go to these, as well as not advocating racing or other behavior. Regardless, there are legal eagles that will tell you that a forum can be held responsible for any issues that may arrise do to the forum providing the venue in which the activity originated. I have consulted several people and because I do not promote the activity, its a far stretch for me to be held liable. Given that, this is America, and anyone can sue anyone for anything and some moron lawyer will be dumb enough to take the case.

If there is an event that I feel may cross the line, I will be sure to let the facilitator understand that they cannot place the event here, in a nice way, and privately. Not allow the person to be humiliated and publically (verbally via posts) attacked. There are diplomatic ways to handle most things, I try to follow those.

funny thing is after the thread got locked. I pmed one of the mods to let him know my opinion on the matter and that he made a spelling error in the post. As a result i got the permenant ban stick?  Grin  thumbsup

Makes a lot of sense guys... after clearly posting in the first post. Euroteknik is not affiliated with this meet... don't know why i had to post that whole paragrapgh if they still ended up affiliating me with themselves.

Not only not following those rules but what about these..

"This is a 1 point infraction that lasts for 14 days.
Rule No. 2 - No Racing, Revving, or Burn-outs
2)There is no racing, revving, or peeling out at a meet. Any of this will be grounds for a ban for an unspeficied period of time. Causing us to lose a meeting spot calls for an immediate and permanent ban. We will call the police on you if you disrupt our meets. This also applies to threads created which discuss illegal street racing."

Sounds great in theory except you don't follow this? i mean a one point infraction and a permanant ban are identical. Roll Eyes
