Alternative powersources will be making their way up. I'm rooting for hydrogen ICE, imagine the crap noise of an electric or fuel cell engine. I could live with hybrid tho.

I heard hydrogen ICE's harm enviroment to, is this treu? I googled it but came up with contradicting explenations.

you'd expect it not to harm the environment because its major waste product is just water. i remember watching Jay Leno's Garage once where he showed off his BMW Hydrogen 7. he left the car on for about 10 minutes with a glass sitting under the exhaust outlet. they came back to it and the glass was half full. so all its doing is sending water back into the environment.

i'm totally with you on this, though. i'm definitely rooting for hydrogen also. it seems a bit expensive to develop, but in the end, you have an engine that doesn't produce any type of CO2 or any other pollutants.

just need to wait a few years with the hydrogen cars, just wait, the prices will most likely go down with future development.

Once beyond development/research stage and when they get mass produced the costs of hydrogen cars will go down. Maybe even sponserd by the gouvernment because they are friendly to the enviroment.

The guy who told me they pulote just as much as petrol cars has a masters in astrophysics so I tended to believe him. On the other hand, what does he know about cars. :p
