so as most of you know, i like to buy new cars every year. im currently driving a 2002 toyota mr2 spyder. it was suppose to be a project car and then i was going to buy a beater, but turns out i dont have anymore time to work on cars! to keep things simple, i want something mildly fast and not too expensive as a dd for now. please give me your inputs and no mini coopers

What have you had so far? What kind of cars do you like?
A mkIV VW Jetta GLI with a 24V VR6 is a fun car that's reasonably quick.

If you want to get a WRX get the 09... add a downpipe and chip it and you will be more than satisfied. DO not get the 05 and O6's... Trust me on that. But if you can vouch for an STi i say do it. Everything is just so much better with the STI. Whether its the new ones or the older STi's they are MUCH MUCH better than WRX's. +IF you buy a new STI now some dealers are giving them away 32k fully loaded. (8k off)
