(it is identical post from here on). Also I know this isn't an American cars forum but you guys are enthusiasts and mostly live out there which gives you an added bonus over me right now!!!
Very specific search and bloody hard to acquire, I am hunting for the 1999-2001 or the 2001-2003 depending on who you get the info from, Mustang Cobra rear lights.
These are distinctive because they have the yellow/amber turn signals/indicators, seen below:
The above carry the part number LRS-13404DA-K, which includes both sides.
the Ford OEM part numbers are:
XR3Z13405CA for driver side
XR3Z13404CA for passenger
I have contacted the Ford tradeparts website to get a stock assessment but I am expecting a nil return.
I have found 2 other websites (late model restoration and mustang power part) in the US that claim to have them in stock but don't reply to e-mails and Maxxtech.eu advertise the part but do not carry it in stock anymore.
So basically, my plea is to the Mustang enthusiasts on here, if you happen to see or hear of any of these yellow turn signal tail lamps for a 1999-2004 Ford Mustang SN95
please let me know, even grab them before anyone else does and i'll pay you directly!!!
That is the end of the plea, for those who wish to know why I am choosing to invest in these costly replacements, it is for UK regulations to pass the SVA/IVA requirements, which all kit cars and imported vehicles must pass to be registered in the UK. This means that the car must be fitted with yellow turn signals at the rear, red is only permitted prior to 1967 (think it was 67) cars. I also have to add a side indicator by the 40th Anniversary emblem and make the front side light bulb white not yellow. All else should be fine for UK standards...
I have emptied Google of search results, I found 1 LH cobra light on Ebay, no good without a RH one though!
