Hey folks, I would like everyone to know about this years LEGO event called Brickworld!
Its one of the largest LEGO shows in North America and it is a great event for the whole family to come and see!!!!!

It is held on June 20-21 2009 at the Westin Hotel in Wheeling Illinois.

THIS YEAR THERE IS A SPECIAL NEW FEATURE TO THE SHOW CALLED "WORLD OF LIGHTS" WHERE THERE WILL BE TONS OF LIT UP LEGO MODELS!!!

ALSO THIS YEAR THE AMOUNT OF DISPLAYS IS DOUBLED SINCE LAST YEAR!!!

you do have to pay admission, but it is well worth the 10$ for adults and 7$ for kids.

here is the link to the Brickworld official website: http://www.brickworld.us/

Please, if you are in the area stop by and take a look at some amazing work made entirely from LEGO!

THESE ARE PICTURES FROM THE 2008 EVENT AND IT GIVES YOU AN IDEA OF WHAT TO EXPECT!!!

Also, if you are coming, stop buy the Northern Illinois LEGO Train Club display, thats the club I'm displaying with, come by and say hello!

Hope to see you there!

I believe I am down for this. We should make this a get together and have some pics in the parking lot and inside by the displays. I'll nail down the wife and the kids for this.

Anyone else up for it? These displays are really amazing. Even if you are an adult with no interest in legos, I was shocked. The fucking sears tower is amazing.

I got a sweet deal.. my dad didn't want the 928 anymore so he gave it to me!  He keeps in his garage, does all the repairs, pays for the plates and insurance too!

Lego snobs. Shifty

Kidding. Not sure which day, that will depend on the leaders (AKA wife) schedule. But, I would like my kids to see that.

I accidently edited it instead of quoting it originally, my bad.
