It gives the car a "mean" looking face when the front of the hood is extended to cover the headlamps Adam.
It looks good, but it seems to be overlapping the upper front corner of the fender by just a little bit.
Maybe its just the angle of the image. Great looking ride either way!

This is stock  Clutch, hahaha you are prolly a 10th person telling me that  )) there is no perfect matched boser hoods because of my body style. Our fenders are sticking out just a bit (dunno why). And also, an angle makes a huge difference. here is another shot  |

So you bought it and then had it painted to match your color? Was the hood big bucks? That may look nice on the TT if they even make it for it.

no, my hood was dented since last winter. so they fixed it, added those extensions and repainted... yeah, its not CF but i like it even more cuz i dont need to buy hood pins and all that stuff, and its not gonna fly away on a hwy )) They can whatever you want on your TT )) |

Hmm, its worth a looking into. I have some blemishes on the upper part of the front (just above the grill). You cant see them unless you really look but I do when waxing. There are several also on the lower part of the hood. It may be a good time to add those. I am dropping 300+ on two new tires to replace my rears next week though. I'll have to haev a look for the old money tree in the back yard.

Looks nice man, I do agree with Clutch that it does look a bit off... But the B6 fenders are weird and make it really hard to line up. Buuuuuuttt nothing beats a boser on a mkIV GTI with Jetta front end (aka JTI)... case-in-point my buddies 01 JTI VR6T   |

The FMIC isn't slanted... If you look closely it's the outlet. EVERYONE thought that though lol. |
