I just got home from the hospital. What a great night.

The TT is totaled and I suffered a nice head injury.

I had to leave the scene in the ambulance, but, will be going to look at the car and post the post-motem photos when I can.

Good bye little friend, you were greatly loved.

I am expecting the claims adjuster by Friday. We'll see how much they want to screw me over. The upside is, the accident wasnt my fault. I was stopped and got slammed into the rear by a mini van and then myself I slammed into the car in front of me. Key word, I was stopped in traffic. Last time I heard, if I wasnt moving, I am pretty much collecting dough from other insurance companies.

No pics yet. Stay tuned.

Shocked   Dang Adam...sorry to hear about your mishap.
Aside from being a little banged up, you seem to be ok,
that's what counts...Insurance will take care of the rest.
Stay safe amigo !

ehh she doesn;t look too bad. i am sure the main reason they totaled it was the airbags... maybe u can ask them to buy it back? and fix it up? parts can be found cheap...

Btw i have a set of really nice wheels that would look great on the tt.

I dont think I want to buy it back Serg, the frame is bent on it. When I tried to get out of it after I got hit, the door wouldnt open. I had to bang the hell out of it with my elbow to get it free. Bent frames never come to any good.

Nope, my little friend took a bullet for me, and I will always appreciate that.

Been busy with work... Sorry about your loss, Adam. You're feeling better though?

If you have the time buy it back, get the motor/trans out of it, wheels off of it, etc and then scrap the car. Unless the insurance company's insane and wants a load of money for it still.
