Driving your road car on a race track

For those of you who do not know, I work for the Chicago region SCCA.

Last night I became a founding member of the Chicago-region SCCA PDX committee. PDX is performance driving experience, or more simply, a track day for those of you who dont know. So you go and take your regular road car out for some fun.

Now the reason why I'm posting this is because this committee is only one event old, and i'd like input from you guys about questions you'd have regarding putting your car on the track (even if you dont intend to). Literally any question will help as this is still in the development stages.
