I will get into it once I get some tires and an extra set of wheels, or a coilover set up with stiffer springs

They usually take place in maywood park, but there is also a couple events at the Tire rack in Indiana.
It is a TON of fun, and there is no better way to spend less than $50 and have a great time in your car!

Autoxing is a blast, you don't need to do anything special to your car as they are classed by mods you have or haven't done to it. You race against others with simular performance. I raced my stock 07 rabbit this summer & won all 4 races with it against other cars that where more powerfull or just should have been faster cars.

Bill, I just drive like a maniac & get away with it. cousin g

We should see if we can get together a IllinoisEuro AuotX event sometime in the spring. That would be so cool!!! Or buy out a track day at a track in the area so we can hang out all day and take spins around the track.

for as much track time as I have under my belt you would think that I had done at least 1 auto-x, but nope. I'm looking forward to trying it out this year. I'm sure I'll be in whatever the most modded class is too... Tongue
