I can't believe that no one besides JVC saw that the hatch glass is an homage to the old P1800.
Any fan of classic Volvo's (or classic Euros in general for that matter) would see the resemblance, appreciate the history behind it, and wouldn't start a thread bitching about something they don't understand.

its one thing to revere the classics and bring them back in style, but its another thing to take them and butcher them into some sort of futuristic marketing scheme.  I really dont think that Volvo's trying to put history behind the C30, its clear they are aiming it towards a younger generation, like alot of car companies are these days i.e. Merc Benz. Sorry for having an opinion or if I offended you...and obviously I'm not familiar with classic volvos, nor do I show any interest in them, so that would explain the thread, no need for the hostility.

Thats prolly why I liked it.  Thanks for pointing it out.
