Its not a bad idea, only how would we enforce it? And, would it discourage new users?

I think it's a pretty good idea, there are a handful of members with 0 posts. But it might discourage people from joining if we make it mandatory. I'm not sure about it.

I like the idea, but I'm sure it'd be tough since a handful of people(myself included) will typically scout a forum before joining. There would need to be an incentive; like a free pony with every introductory thread. Being that this forum is designed for local activity I think it would just be a greater incentive to coordinate multiple meets regionally and then have some rally meet at the inaugural "Illinois Euro Spring meet"  . but feel free to sleep on it. |

I was on Dsm forums and they seemed to have this type of rule. Worked pretty well everyone introduced themselves. |

As one of the 3 founders the idea behind the forum is to not be as restrictive as other forums and welcome everybody.
I usually lurk around forums until I find something worth posting about. I don't like the idea of anything manadatory here except common sense.
