Imm firin' mah lazor! o_O

« on: October 04, 2007, 06:52:51 PM »

I took my 4 year old cousin Sarah to McDonalds the other night, because i had to babysit her. and we were ordering and I asked what Hot Wheels they had for their Kids Meals, since they had them out. The lady went and looked and said we have two, a Gray Truck looking thing and a Blue Car Thingie.

So I asked how much an extra was, she rang it up and it was $2.17 with tax, WAY TOO MUCH! But Thats OK, I bought it! Sarah got two. She love hot wheels cars as much as I do, which is odd because she is a girl. Roll Eyes

So we go out to the separate play area and start to eat, but Sarah grabbed the Hot Wheels to go race down the slide thing. Well she had a little buddy join her. Sarah has always liked to share, so she hands the other lil one the Blue car thingie and the races are on. So I would call Sarah over every few minutes to eat something and the other lil ones Mom would too. So finally the other Lil one went to get a bite, and Sarah came to eat something before the racing started up again.

So the other Lil one beat her in eating a bite or two and came over to our table with the Blue Hot Wheel thingie in hand to wait on Sarah, and he looked at me and my cousin and said "HELLO" "My name is John and I'm 3 old and I WUV Hot Weel"! in his little 3 year old voice, I thought it was cute the way he said 3 old and I Wuv Hot Weel. Smiley

So off they go to race again, and it was on, they were having alot of fun together . Slinging those strange looking Hot Wheels down the big slide. And I noticed the Mom had only split a order of Nuggets with him and a older sister and they were even sharing a Drink as well. So she must have been kinda broke? Or on a tight budget. :'( So the two played and played.

So after another 15-20 minutes or so, the other Mom called for John to go, and he politely went and handed Sarah the Hot Wheel over by the slide. So they were leaving and I called Sarah over and said something like "thats kinda Pittyful that John didn't even get a Hot Wheel car", so Sarah Looked at me and I nodded, and Sarah tore out through the Play Ground door and Hollered "HEY John!", and then he handed him the Blue Hot Wheel Thingie, and John hugged her and ran to catch his mom and sister!

This is a great example to how the hobby should be done, sharing. I'm tired of the collectors who buy cases of cars and leave nothing for the rest of us. This reminds me of when K-mart had its "collector days" a few weeks ago,I was the 8th person in line to get some new cars... the first three guys in line were all friends, the store only had four cases of new cars, and those three guys bought three of the four cases leaving nothing for the rest of the people who showed up. So to heck with all of the greedy collectors and the bickering and fighting and who found what and who didn't share what with what Adult! And all the other Jealous Bull Crap that goes on the "Hot wheels collectors" Boards!

THAT'S WHAT IT SHOULD BE ABOUT! Sharing with a 3 old that Wuv's Hot Weel! thumbsup thumbsup thumbsup
