Anyone feel less than enthusiastic as I do about him breaking the record? I grew watching Hammerin' Hank and I still believe he was one of the top five players ever. My number one is Charlie Hustle. Lots of people might not agree because of gambling, but, at least no allegations of drugs.

Blah! Barry should have never broken Hanks record.

Im not a fan of Barry Bonds. Never was. Not now, not when he broke the single season HR record, and not earlier in his career. I dont believe he should even has his name in the record books or in cooperstown.

A lot of my friends are happy because its something in history that they witness'd, but id rather respect Hank and wait for A-Rod to brake it

Funny how Bonds didnt start breaking records till he was in his mid 30's, ironically right when he started a new training program with the BALCO boys who are in jail now...
