What is being done to end world hunger?

There is great progress being made to end world hunger. Many organizations across the globe are involved in this struggle. Each day, hundreds of thousands of ordinary men and women work for these organizations. Through their efforts, millions of impoverished people have food to eat, learn skills and find hope for the future.

Will the rice I donate make a difference?

The rice you donate makes a huge difference to the person who receives it. About 25,000 people die each day from hunger or hunger-related causes, most of them children. To a mother or father watching a loved child die in their arms from hunger, the rice you donate is more precious than anything in the world.

Random Links

1) If you suck at vocab it adjusts the level with every word you get wrong (look at the lower right corner of where you are playing the game, it shows what level you are on and your highest level)
Example:

2) The companies that advertise donate money which is then given to the UN World Food Program (WFP) who in turn buys from local growers in east asia, that way this goes full circle. The poor farmers get money and the starving people get fed.

3) Look at the dates of those articles:
01/03/2005
December 24, 2004
February 16, 2005

Not only are they pretty old, but they are also all within a 2 month time period. Much changes from 2005-2007 (almost 2008 now). The past is the past, do you think this would happen again? (it could of course but is unlikely in my eyes although i am only 17 and am very naive.)

Hopefully Starvin Marvin will get some of that rice.  Grin

I saw that site a while ago.  I think I got to level 63 before missing one.  Then the questions level off and it gives you words only at that level.

There are 50 levels in all, but it is rare for people to get above level 48.

I think you may be thinking of something else...
