... shoveling snow in the morning to get my car out of the garage. Never had to deal with this white stuff in sunny Florida. I went out a little while ago a shoveled away what had already accumulated. Anyone have any good tips for this type of stuff for a complete NOOB to the snow life?

• be sure you have a good shovel.
• uses your legs to lift not your back.
• get the additive for the windshield washer fluid so it doesnt freeze up while clearing off the windshield
• dont use DSC - that's for the unadventurous
• if you fishtail, counter steer
• watch out for jackasses in SUVs
• go under the speed limit but keep up w/ traffic
• good luck
don't worry, he's got an audi. Turn of ESP, that is for the unadventurous.
Also, save the shoveling for tomorrow morn, as long as it keeps snowing, you're just wasting time now. Who knows, it could be gone tomorrow, or you could have a 2 foot drift.
